The result of our department is quite encouraging. The strength of the department lies in its intimate teacher student relationship. The students are always in the loving watchful eyes of their teachers which provide the students ample opportunity to solve their difficulties. Bengali as a subject is very promising as it offers different kinds of job opportunities to its students. The students can opt for teaching jobs in schools and colleges. As a regional language the importance of Bengali is increasing day by day and various job facilities in different administrative departments are being open up. There are also job facilities in newspapers, television and broadcast departments.
